Area Planning Commissions
Commissioner Crockett joined Snap Inc. in January 2021, where he heads Public Policy and Government Relations for the State of California. Commissioner Crockett’s responsibilities include liaising with local and state elected leaders, agencies, and community organizations, to advance legislative priorities, strategic partnerships and civic initiatives. Prior to joining Snap, Commissioner Crockett was Director of Community Business in the Office of Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti. Additionally, Commissioner Crockett has experience as a teacher and case manager for a nonprofit organization located in South-Los Angeles, and as an Associate with SEI Investments.
Commissioner Crockett currently serves on the boards of the Los Angeles Conservation Corps, Coro Southern California, the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce, and PledgeLA. Commissioner Crockett holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University where he majored in Finance and Management, and earned his MBA at UCLA.
