Notice is hereby given to the general public of the availability for public review and comment on the following Environmental documents. This publication is intended to serve as our Notice of Intent to adopt the following Negative Declaration (ND). Documents are also available online at the Dept. of City Planning’s website http://cityplanning.lacity.org/development-services/negative-declaration-public-notices. CD indicates the Council District, sf indicates square feet.

NEGATIVE DECLARATION: ENV-2018-1512. ENV-2018-1512-A. ENV-2018-1512-B. ENV-2018-1512-C. ENV-2018-1512-D. ENV-2018-1512-E. ENV-2018-1512-F. ENV-2018-1512-G. ENV-2018-1512-H. ENV-2018-1512-I. 3216 W 8th St; Wilshire. CD10. Demolition of a 2 story 4-plex multi-family residential unit, a surface parking lot & construction of a new 95 guest room, 6 story hotel with a total flr area of approx. 129,675 sf including 4,716 sf of commercial/restaurant space on ground level. Project totals approx. 21,614 sf & is comprised of multiple lots. Height of project from ground level to roof parapet is approx. 74'-6 & 81'-8 measured from lowest grade of property to roof parapet & will be built with a 3-level subterranean parking garage with a total of 70 shared parking spaces & 28 bicycle stalls including 14 short term & 14 long term stalls. Project proposes a restaurant in commercial space located on ground level which would serve a full-line of alcoholic beverages for onsite consumption & operating 7 days a week, 7am to 2am. Open space & deck areas which are open to sky are proposed for 2nd, 6th floor & roof level. Roof level is designed with a swimming pool with courtyard & lounge areas for hotel guests. 6th level will contain a 1,889 sf private hotel bar with 40 indoor seating & 50 outdoor seating. A 2nd 300 sf bar located on roof level adjacent to the swimming pool. Roof top bar will not have designated seating & tables & will operate as a cocktail bar for the pool & hotel guests. Both bars will serve a full line alcohol to hotel guests only. Project involves exporting approx. 32,396 cubic yds of dirt. 30 trees will be provided on site & 5 trees are proposed for public right away including 2 on 8th St & 3 on Mariposa Ave.  Please call (213) 978-1414 to review file.
