City Planning Commission Recommends Approval of the Safety Element Targeted Update and Health Element Technical Amendments

On October 14th, 2021 the City Planning Commission (CPC) voted unanimously to recommend that the City Council approve the targeted update to the Safety Element and technical amendments to the Health Element alongside the proposed 2021-2029 Housing Element. CPC additionally recommended that one new program be added to the Health Element to advance environmental justice goals across the General Plan, amending Exhibit J of the staff report.
