Public Information Director Emergency Appointment
The Public Information Director is City Planning’s primary spokesperson for media requests. Working directly under the Chief External Affairs Officer, the Public Information Director is responsible for handling daily media inquiries and funneling interview questions. In this capacity, the Public Information Director will be entrusted to work closely with City Planning’s staff in issuing responses and statements to the media. The Public Information Director will also draft and develop media advisories, press releases, and FAQs for planning-related initiatives. Part of this work will entail developing and implementing a strategic plan of action, working closely with the Executive Team and Chief External Affairs Officer.
