Commissioner Lawshe, a seasoned real estate development and acquisitions professional, has been instrumental in the significant growth of two Los Angeles-based real estate companies – A Community of Friends, a non-profit development company, and GHC Housing Partners, a nationally recognized owner and operator of affordable housing. Commissioner Hatch is currently employed at the Los Angeles Unified School District. She managed the 2000 and 2010 Decennial Census operations for downtown Los Angeles and Torrance. Ms. Hatch has served on the Board of Neighborhood Commissioners (BONC) and the Neighborhood Council Review Commission.
Commissioner Orozco is an attorney who represents government agencies in matters related to public works projects. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Watts Village Theater Company and a former law clerk for the City of Los Angeles' Office of the City Attorney. Ms. Orozco holds a bachelor's degree from Yale University and a doctorate in Law from University of Iowa.
Commissioner Waltz Morocco is a stage and screen actress. She is President of the Overland Avenue Community, Vice-Chair of the Westside Neighborhood Council, the secretary of the Lange Foundation, and a founding board member of the Steel River Playhouse in Pennsylvania. Ms. Waltz Morocco holds a bachelor's degree in Drama from Carnegie Mellon University.
Commissioner Diaz has over 27 years of professional experience in the environmental field, including extensive knowledge of environmental state and federal regulations. She is a member of the State Parks Foundation. Ms. Diaz holds a bachelor's degree in Health and Safety and a master's in Public Administration, both from CSUN.
